Quite a few years ago now, I was carrying a shopping bag with me when I
visited the Roman baths in Bath (U.K.). It didn't take long to associate
my latest purchase, the Rubber Duck (plastic really), with the somewhat grandly historical
but none the less fundimentally familiar, "bath".
I thought I would just place it in the water, take the picture, retrieve the
fabricated fowl and be on my way. When I got to the taking the photo bit, I found it
was actually very difficult to frame both the duck and any signifigant part of the
architecture. In the time it took positioning myself for the
photo (I was crouching down really low) the duck had drifted out enough for the breeze to catch it. Remember
this is a reasonably stuffy kind of display with signs everywhere do not
touch/swim/breathe.
So I hid. I could see from around the corner lots of asian
tourists taking photos of it and squeeling with laughter. The wind eventually
took it to the other side and some prudish woman plucked it out and placed it near one
of the columns muttering, tutting and scowling. Once she had gone I stuffed
the duck in my pack. The Duck now lives in my bathroom under a framed copy
of this photo.

Here's me on me horse. It was 17 hands which is a alot of feet! It is an
ex-state dressage runner-up.
Heres a beautiful spider I saw on Rotnest Island (near Perth) it was
about 6 inches long!
After taking the photo I threw a stick at it
and ran like my life depended on it!

This is Richard and Maria's cat Mouseboy.
Mouseboy is renown for his ability to not catch animals.
It's not that he isn't quick or that he doesn't try enough, so it must
just be bad luck!!

I've almost always had short hair, hairs why!
I was a bit squiffy when I met Di, (I loved Lemsips but didn't
know they had paracetemol in them and had a few wines on top of 3 Lemsips).
I think my fly was undone and Di is most amused! (Photo is honestly unaltered, I really met her.)

A good friend of Helen's, Fatboy takes road safety to heart using pedestrian crossings when ever possible.
Fatboy on holiday - it ain't easy bein' a cat!
I play indoor netball a bit - here I am amongst the action.
Next I'm with my mates after the game.
Our House ... in the middle of the street (not really but I let rip with some Madness every now and then.)
